I found this on the net, It describes the writing process


Writing is a process done in different stages: prewriting, drafting, revising/editing, and publishing/presenting. These stages are recursive; that is, they do not necessarily follow one another in order; you can go back and forth among steps, repeating those that you need to until you end up with the result you want.

El proceso de la escritura se realiza en diferentes etapas: pre-escritura, delineado, revisando/editando, y publicando/presentando. Se puede recurrir a estas etapas, en ese orden, pero no es necesario hacerlo siempre; puedes seguir esos pasos a la inversa o hacia adelante, esos pasos los puedes usar repetidamente hasta lograr los resultados deseados.
